trial day
Before I started this program, I wasn’t sure which course I wanted to pursue. That’s why I decided to attend a trial day in the Software Developer...
program, and I immediately felt like I was in the right place. Believe it or not, this is the website in HTML that I created during that trial day. I was extremely proud of it. I even uploaded it to the internet (with help from the instructors, of course) and couldn’t wait to show it to everyone at home. When I got home, I found out that I couldn’t find it online. By sheer coincidence, a fellow student discovered it today on an old school laptop, and that’s why I can now share it online here!

Nobamacare
This is a project I made in February 2023 as one of my first full project I made at school. Me and my project partner had some other stuff to do, so w...
e ended up only having 3 days too complete this project and we are pretty proud of the result. We had too make a website for older people too order food in there retirement home.
We went for a simple login were you login with an 8 digit code that can be easy to remember or have on a bracelet or card, then it asks
your name too make sure that you filled in the right code. The people get too choose the food they want for every day off the week,
if they accidentally made a mistake they can ask a care taker too change it for them. A lot of functions have been turned off or deleted to make sure I could post it here on my website. If you wanna try and login you can use the code 12345678 too see how too order and too see how login works

Buurtzorg
Just like 'Nobamacare' this project was made in February of 2023 with the same Project partner. This website has a lot of function I had too
turn of...
f to make sure they dint get abused. This website was meant for a fictional company that was hiring people, you could login in and would get a verification mail. There was some jobs that you could look into and see the hours and things that were expected of you, when filling in some information you can apply too that job and the admins would be able too see your application. Unfortunately a lot of functions also broke when moving it form my laptop too the server and this is whats left.

The Challenge zone
In recent weeks, I had the opportunity to work on a website for “The Challenge Zone” with Ben Dolkemade and Jonas Knauber. I was paired by the sch...
ool with a company that needed a website, after which I reached out and held a client meeting. I started by creating a design based on the client's wishes and presented it to them. Soon after, I realized that the project was quite large for me to code on my own, so I brought Jonas and Ben into the project. Jonas worked on the major back-end features and documentation, Ben focused on styling according to my design, and I took on a leading role, working on the back end and ensuring the project was up and running on the server. This approach kept the project moving quickly and everything ran smoothly. For most users, the website has three simple pages: an "About Us" page, where visitors can read a text with photos about the company; a "Posts" page, where the company can publish posts for people to view, similar to a social media platform; and a "Contact" page, where users can fill out a form to send questions to the company. However, for the company itself, there’s a bit more functionality. They can log in with two-factor authentication to access the admin menu. Here, they can edit or rewrite the entire "About Us" text and photos, create and delete posts like on a social media platform, and update the address on the contact page. I learned a lot from this project and am grateful to have had the chance to work on it.
